Following last night’s two Game 7s, in which the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Washington Capitals 2-0 and the Anaheim Ducks beat the Edmonton Oilers 2-1, the Conference Finals have now been set. In the Eastern Conference, the Penguins will face the Ottawa Senators, while in the Western Conference, the Ducks will play against the Nashville Predators.

Some hockey fanatics and Rye High School had a lot to say about the playoffs. Ryan Kirkpatrick, an avid Rangers fan, said, “Now that the Rangers aren’t in the playoffs anymore, I’m not gonna watch.” The Varsity Hockey team’s captain Will Hynson said, “I’m pissed that the Rangers aren’t in but I also love the Penguins, so I’ll get to root for them now.”
