This past Sunday, January 29, the girls squash teams 1 and 2 faced off against Darien and Squash Haven in the Fair West Tournament. Having been league champs a few times in a row now, team 1 is expecting a banner in the gym any day. Multiple players went to 5 games, meaning the matches were extremely close. Despite this, every team 1 player won their match.

Junior and team 1 player, Caroline Baldwin says, “KJ and Kina both had a very tough match and won. I’m so proud of our team and where we have come this season.”

For US Squash HS Nationals the team has been put into Division 1 out of 5, making them top 16 in the country.

Junior, Kina Kasha says “I had so much fun with the team, everyone was really supportive of each other and we all played really well. It was a really good experience.”

Junior, Ainsley Schultz says “It was really exciting to come in first and overall a really fun experience.”
