Will there be sports soon?

As of today May 13, it has been roughly 61 days without a major sporting event in the US from the three major sports that were in season or would have been in season by now, MLB, NBA, and NHL. However, that could all be changing very soon, especially with MLB attempting to salvage at least some of their season, and NBA and NHL attempting to restart their whether it be with some regular-season games or straight to the playoffs. MLB appears to be the closest to returning as the owners have already come up with a plan that they will be proposing to the players. NBA commissioner Adam Silver has also given the league a two-four week timeline for determining if they will be resuming their season. NHL commissioner Gary Bettman said that he isn’t even considering canceling the rest of the season. MLB and the NBA also got a huge positive when both Arizona and Florida Governors announced that professional sports would be welcomed in their states. The NBA could play at Disney, and all MLB teams have their spring training facilities located in either Arizona and Florida and by playing only teams in their respective states. Although it would be great to have live sports again, there are certainly some issues, such as what happens if a player gets sick, would the players be quarantined when not playing in hopes to prevent, and if they are what about their families, would they have to go possibly months, in the case of MLB, without seeing them? There is a good chance that if any of them are to resume, that there would certainly be no fans allowed. If any of the leagues are to come up with a suitable plan for how to play safely again, it would still be around another month before actually games can resume as the players would certainly need some sort of training camp. I think there is a good chance we see baseball this, but hockey and basketball maybe be another story.
