World Series Preview

The 2019 MLB playoffs have been dominated by bullpens. The team that has the better pitching rotation has usually won their respective series. That is why this year’s World Series features the Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros, who have arguably the best bullpens in the American League (AL) and National League (NL). The Nationals feature three amazing pitchers in Max Scherzer, Stephen Strasburg, and Patrick Corbin. The Astros have the most talented bullpen in recent MLB history, featuring likely AL Cy Young award winner Gerrit Cole, Justin Verlander, and Zack Greinke. It will be a very entertaining finals series especially considering that both teams also have explosive batters one through nine . Shortstop Alex Bregman could win AL MVP for Houston and star veterans Carlos Correa, Jose Altuve, Micheal Brantly, and Yuli Gurriel top a dynamic offense. For Washington, Juan Soto, Anthony Rendon, Trea Turner, and Victor Robles represent a mix of young stars and veterans having career years. Stay tuned for a very entertaining series…
