Antonio Brown “Done” with NFL

Antonio Brown vs the Miami Dolphins week two as a Patriot. He would have four catches for fifty six yards and a touchdown

After a tirade of recent social media activity, Antonio Brown has officially proclaimed that he is done with playing in the NFL. In an outrageous tweet Antonio Brown ripped owners proclaiming that “I will not be playing in the @NFL anymore these owners can cancel deals do whatever they want at anytime we will see if the @NFLPA hold them accountable sad they can just void guarantees anytime going on 40m 2 months will see if they pay up!” Antonio went from $30 million guaranteed with the Raiders to only making $158,333 this season because of his destructive and unnecessary behavior. Many sports analysts including Stephen A. Smith, Max Kellerman and Shannon Sharpe are outraged at how Brown has squandered his money and opportunity with the Patriots. If there is any team that you can’t fumble around with it is the New England Patriots. The real kicker here is that there is no reason for him to be acting like this. Basically, he is losing out on playing and earning a huge salary just because he’s overly emotional and clingy. In addition, his recent sexual assault allegations have sunk his credibility and have further diminished his chances in the NFL.

I don’t hate Antonio Brown, but it is safe to say that I am very disappointed. How can such a great talent just seem to go to waste like this. It’s not like he is injury prone or is currently suffering from an injury which adds to the dismay of the situation. Hey, at least Antonio is going back to school as he proclaimed on twitter. He will be taking online classes at his alma mater Central Michigan. I hope reality sets in for Antonio Brown right now and he can realize that his destructive behaviors can be reversed for an NFL return. Arguably the best person in the world at what he does is no longer in the league, and I hope that changes sooner or later.
