For the 2018-2019 Rye Squash season, I played on the Varsity B team, and I felt that that time is worthy of reflection, as it was an unforgettable experience. I have been on the Rye Squash team since seventh grade, and a part of the varsity team since last year. I felt that this year specifically was my best experience so far with the program, as I felt that through the hard work of our teams and the excellent organizational and coaching skills of coach Quan Huynh and assistant coach Cody Blume, the team became the best that it could be. I personally felt a much more powerful team dynamic than ever.

This season was also our most successful ever, as we won more matches then ever, and we even came in second place in our division for the US high school nationals this past January. Even from the beginning of the season, it was clear that it was going to be a great one, as all of our players constantly outplayed and outwitted our opponents, regardless of player rank or if we were missing any players. We had excellent practices as well, as our team worked impeccably with the coaches from the Apawamis Club, Westchester Country Club, and Lifetime Fitness Club to hone our skills and perfect our strategies.

This years Squash season was one of the most exciting, challenging, and rewarding parts of my junior year, and I feel that it has been equally memorable and important for my teammates as well as our coaches and all those involved in its organization and upkeep.
