Tensions arose this week between Indian and Pakistan, who are both nuclear powers, over the disputed region of Kashmir. On February 14th, Pakistan supported terrorists suicide bombed an Indian outpost in the region, killing over 40 military personnel. This Tuesday, Indian fighters retaliated by delivering and airstrike on a training camp for the terrorists, taking the lives of a few civilians. Pakistan then shot down two Indian aircraft, and captured one pilot, Commander Abhinandan, who was paraded around (but protected) and has become a hero and the face of the conflict in India.
