LeBron James and the Cavs finally took down the Pacers yesterday, winning game 7 105-101 to advance to the second round.  It has been a tough series for the Cavs, who got more trouble than expected from a Pacers team led by Victor Oladipo, Myles Turner, and the always-feisty Lance Stephenson.  LeBron had to carry the team all series, finishing with averages of 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists, including a game winning step back three to take game 5.

Lance Stephenson and LeBron James’ rivalry had another chapter this series

The Cavaliers play has to be concerning for anyone expecting them to come out of the East again.  LeBron has been dominant and is a privilege to watch in year 15, but this is the weakest roster hes played with since before he went to Miami in 2009.  There is still a chance LeBron does it again and comes out of the East, but they’re vulnerable.  They play Toronto in Round 2 and it will be a series to watch.

Victor Oladipo has been proving people wrong all year

The Pacers have to be disappointed to lose a series they felt they could win, but they have been an impressive surprise all season.  No one expected them to compete this year, and Oladipo has developed into the All-Star many predicted he would become when he was drafted #2 overall in 2o13.
