The girls lacrosse team had been working hard for their debut game against Albertus Magnus. The team is led by two division one commits, Margaret Mitchell and Amanda Hartzell. Alongside them is goalie Maggie Devlin who is looking to fill the shoes left by Micheline DiNardo. Mitchell is committed to Holy Cross and Hartzell will be taking her efforts to Yale next Fall. Rye girls lacrosse coach, Dennis Hurlie, has worked tirelessly to make sure his team can be the best this season.
Lennie Agosta said, “I’m excited to see what this season has in store for us, we’ve really been grinding to make our team the best it can be. I love looking up into the stands for Seamus, it’s really comforting.”
Teammate Maggie Devlin said, “I have a big position to fill, but I will be able to succeed because my team has my back.”
